Nebraska-Omaha picked up two commitments from the USHL, acording to Chris Heisenberg.
One was Finnish forward Jan-Mikael Juutilainen, who was thought to have committed to Omaha last season, but never did. It looks like the Mavericks ended up winning that recruiting battle anyway.
The other was Tri-City forward Jordan Willert. Willert will add some much needed size to the Mavericks diminutive lineup. He is a 6-3 218 lbs. power forward from Minot, North Dakota. He was listed as a "B" prospect by the NHL's Central Scouting Bureau earlier this year before recently being taken off the list.
Juutilainen will reportedly either join the Mavericks 2007 or 2008, while Willert will likely wait until the 2008 season before joining the Mavericks.
