Linkorama

Hockey's Future's DJ Powers wrote a nice recap of the college hockey world for the month of November.

I tried to solve the riddle of how to beat the Gophers. Of course, I also like the George Costanza strategy, where Minnesota State does the complete opposite of everything they'd normally do.

Brad Schlossman's article on Ben Blood's commitment. There's a little in there about Nick Oliver's commitment to St. Cloud as well.

Kevin Allenspach writes more about Nick Oliver's commitment. He's the youngest recruit in St. Cloud history.

Shane Frederick writes about the competition between Brent and Kurtis Kisio, who play for Nebraska-Omaha and Minnesota State respectively. I say why not rename the Spirit of the Maverick Cup the Kisio Cup? Maybe that's the jumpstart the rivlary needs.

Wisconsin recruit Garrett Suter was released by Omaha. I still haven't the heard the circumstances of his release, but it's another bad sign for Suter ever making it to Wisconsin, where he committed two years ago.

Defending Class A state champion St. Thomas Academy reportedly beat section rival Red Wing 2-1.

Apparently Fox Sports North has started calling the line of Ben Gordon, Blake Wheeler, and Jay Barriball the "Presidential Line" because of the first letter of each's last name. That has to be one of the dumbest nicknames I've ever heard.

They only called them the "presidential line" once, as far as I can remember it.

Don't mention it, maybe no one will remember and it will go away. Very dumb.

Suter suffered a separated shoulder and is most likely done for the season.
