Weekend Linkorama

The GF Herald's Brad Schlossman has nice recaps of North Dakota's wins on Friday and Saturday. Ok, who the heck is this Brad Miller guy? I thought he was a bad NBA center, but he always seemed to be in the right spot last weekend.

Mav Hockey Nation says The Mavs are on the right path.

Anchorage struggled in Houghton last weekend. UAA Fan Blog also has a great correspondents report.

What's the deal with Michigan Tech? I have no idea how they scored 9 goals on Friday. I suspect sorcery and foulplay. They backed that up with a 5-3 victory. They've got a 5-1 record and already have 4 points in the WCHA. Part of me says they have to come back to Earth eventually, but perhaps they'll really surprise people this season.

Lake Superior dominated American Internationl, as expected.

Duluth beat Denver in overtime on Friday and Denver came back to earn the split on Saturday.

And here's the Duluth perspective of the win and the loss.

Alaska held serve against Ferris at home.

Jeff Zatkoff is rolling again for Miami as the Hawks shutout Bowling Green, and swept the weekend series.

So much for Western's lead in the CCHA. They were swept at Omaha.
