Pat Kane wasn't the only player that decided to play in the CHL rather than the NCAA this season. The Scouting News has ran a lot of stories recently on players making their decision, including:
2007 recruit Lucas Bloodoff will join his younger brother Evan and play for the Kelowna Rockets.
California 2008 defenseman Max Nicastro will play in the USHL rather than in the WHL.
2009 defenseman Jared Cowan is attending the Spokane Chiefs camp, despite taking unofficial visits to a few different NCAA schools. There was never much chance of a player of his caliber waiting around three years just to play college hockey.
2008 forward Brandon Kozun is giving up his NCAA eligibility by playing for the Calgary Hitmen next season.
