The Wisconsin State Journal is stating today that Michigan received a verbal commitment from British Columbia forward Ben Winnett today, over Wisconsin.
Winnett became one of the top recruits for the class of 2007 after scoring an impressive 18 goals and 31 assists in 60 games last season in his first season in the BCHL.
