I haven't had anyone call me an idiot lately, so I thought I'd try this again. I originally posted star rankings like other sports do for all recruits last winter, and thought I'd make a few updates and post it again. This is just my opinion and could be completely wrong. Take it for what it's worth. Feel free to leave your comments in the comments section. A couple players have been bumped up and a few have been bumped down.

Matt Glasser sure gets a lot of love for 35 points in 58 AJHL games. And don't say "lemme see your list" cause I ain't got one ... I'm just sayin.
IDIOT....There feel better..
Here's a good article about Glasser that explains his lack of scoring a little more.

Hmmm. 4 stars for Darcy Zajac (never drafted) and 3 Stars for Chris Vandevelde (top 100 draft pick). Curious given niether is more "built" for college hockey. Nice list though...
There's a difference in stars, but overall, I think the difference is negligible.
Zajac had a very good year this season and his stock rose a lot. Vandevelde got off to a bit of a slow start, but really played great down the stretch. I had Vandevelde higher in this set than I did the last time, but I didn't up him up to 4 stars.
Ryan Lasch of the Pembroke Kings will never be able to play at the college level with out NHLer Keefe and his agent. Word is in Pembroke that they made him a player and they are the resons for the kids point totals. Look for this kid to be a big flop in collge.
I'm sure Lasch won't forget how to play hockey over the summer.
That said, I think Lasch is the biggest "boom or bust" player in this year's crop. He'll either be very effective and score a ton of points, or he won't be and he'll score very few.
hockey players are not made over night. Pretty sure everyone at one point in their career had a coach that molded them into the player that they are now
Those of you that are commenting negatively on Ryan Lasch obviously did not see this young man play hockey over the last few years in Pembroke, ON. He has the best work ethic on the ice that I have seen over many years of being a hockey fan in Canada. He is small but is quick, strong, fast and is not afraid to take on the "big" guys. If he plays like he did in Pembroke, St Cloud should have a really good player. Good Luck Ryan, we enjoyed you playing for the Kings.
the dude that said ryan will never make it at the college level...one question bud ~ HAVE YOU EVER SEEN HIM PLAY??? if not, shut up..you don't know what yer talkin about...we have watched him play his heart out for Pembroke for the past few years...he's small but fast...having said that...
if you have seen him...do you know anything about the skill required to play the game? he played that way with kevin abrams and keefe as his coaches because they run a very tight and disciplined ship in Pembroke. It was a group effort ~ not just 'cuz of keefe...
have a nice day!! and i will sign my name...Tanya
hey whats up? i LOVE J.J Koehler!!
he used to play for the Lincoln Stars Hockey team in the USHL (last year) he was/still is my favorite hockey player!!!!!! i talked to him at a Stars game early in the season this year!! it was AWSOME!!!!! i was SOOOO happy to see him b/c i was sad b/c i thought that i probably wont see him again (unless i go to a Maverick's game) but i saw him!! i love him b/c he is short and VERY talented!!!!!!

Lindsey likes boinking short hockey players that play on crappy teams. Way to set the bar high. Got to love the puck bunnys. LOL
Jay Barribal. Very solid freshman not on your list.
