Minnesota-Duluth picked up a top forward on the 2007 Recruiting Board in Ontario forward Travis Oleksuk. Oleksuk's father, Bill, played for the Bulldogs in the late 70's and early 80's.
Oleksuk is probably best known for his ability to shoot the puck. He was the top pick in the USHL Canadian Futures draft last year, and could potentially play in the USHL next season before joining the Bulldogs in 2007.
