Just in case, like me, you were unfortunate enough not to make it to the Frozen Four this year.
The NCAA's Official Blog, the Double A Zone, posted about the Frozen Four.
One of the things mentioned is a comparison of Holy Cross' win over Minnesota against George Mason's win over Connecticut. Not to put down the Patriot's big win, but I'd almost have to take the Crusader's victory as a bigger upset. College basketball has changed so much over the last 20 years due to the three point shot. Take away the three-ball and George Mason has no shot at advancing through the tourney. Any team can have a hot shooting night and knock off any other team. I think it's much more difficult to pull off a huge upset in hockey.
In case you're watching the games today, and you need to reference any of the teams, College Hockey News capsules each team.
Ryan Bakken checks back in with another informative update from Milwaukee. Dave Hakstol snapped one of Travis Zajac's skate blades and Rick Helling will be in attendance.
The Wisconsin Hockey Blog has their third installment of the Semifinal Preview posted. No chance of him taking the third seed Black Bears lightly. He must have written 2000 words on this game over the course of the week. Well done.
