Derrick LaPoint Commits to North Dakota
Derrick LaPoint, a defenseman from Eau Claire North High School in Wisconsin has committed to North Dakota. LaPoint received a lot of interest from most WCHA schools late this season, but ultimately, chose the Fighting Sioux, where his brother works as an equipment manager.

I was wondering how good your source is on this one? If true would be nice.
Now your source must have been really good because it ended up on Chris H's site and the new papers all had it today, dude I will never doubt you ever.
He actually got the info from the UW recruiting thread on the uscho message board.
Derrick is my favourite player on the Gamblers, he's a great player. It is sad that he's leaving.
