Taylor Matson Commits to Minnesota

For about a month or two now, Taylor Matson committing to Minnesota has been all but a done deal. Today it was announced that it was a done deal.

Matson will join the Gophers for the 2007 season. He's a junior this year, but will likely spend his senior year in the USHL with current Holy Angels teammate Jay Barriball.


UPDATE: The Twin Cities newspapers are reporting that Matson will play his senior season at Holy Angels, and then spend a year in the USHL before joining the Gophers in 2008.
