Recruiting News

The biggest news of the day is BCHL recruit Brian Lebler choosing Michigan over Wisconsin, where his father played hockey and where his mother is originally from. In a strange twist of fate, the one 2006 forward recruit that didn't spurn Michigan's offer was the one that was probably the most likely to do so.

In an earlier post, I mentioned how BCHL goalie Marc Cheverie visited North Dakota for the UND/DU series. Apparently he liked what he saw in the opposition because he committed to Denver for the 2007 season.

Josh Unice, who is currently playing for the NTDP U17 committed to Bowling Green. It's a very nice pick-up for the Falcons, as Unice has tremendous potential.

Finally, Brandon Wong, the leading scorer in the BCHL, committed to Quinnipiac.
