I chose to go with following my dream of becoming a scout.

Far as Craig Smith goes, I wouldn't be surprised if he is next years Trevor Lewis. A kid who has the skating ability, hockey sense, skill, and heart but just hasn't physically matured yet. He still can be a high selection next year.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12302090.post-87507092766556979082007-06-24T03:14:00.000-05:002007-06-24T03:14:00.000-05:00You actually think Allan Muir saw all these guys. ...You actually think Allan Muir saw all these guys. I would probably say he saw he total of 0 prospects. I'm willing to bet he looked at some mock draft made some random adjustments and then looked at the blurbs about the players hockeysfuture and various scouting reports and just reworded them.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12302090.post-63222422912814716462007-06-22T23:44:00.000-05:002007-06-22T23:44:00.000-05:00regardless of whether they were good players, at l...regardless of whether they were good players, at least they see the players they write reports on!!
funny stuff.lAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12302090.post-18190606085139944072007-06-22T01:48:00.000-05:002007-06-22T01:48:00.000-05:00I believe Allan Muir never played hockey and Kyle ...I believe Allan Muir never played hockey and Kyle Woodlief never was much of a hockey player either.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12302090.post-68179136227937964322007-06-20T19:41:00.000-05:002007-06-20T19:41:00.000-05:00Max has a special affinity for his native Wisconsi...Max has a special affinity for his native Wisconsin born players. He has Craig Smith rated at number 82 in North America. Central Scouting did not have him in their final 210. The kid had 5 points in the second half of the season and only dressed for 4 of 9 playoff games. Smith may have a bright future, but I don't think a team is going to use a draft choice on a kid who played himself out of the regular lineup in the USHL.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12302090.post-63109053703163136332007-06-20T18:15:00.000-05:002007-06-20T18:15:00.000-05:00"Max Giese is a scout for McKeen’s Hockey.
